R&D&i PROJECTS
ATMOSPHERE.
NuevAs Tecnologías para el alMacenamiento, generaciÓn y Seguridad en Plantas de HidrógEno VeRdE
The ATMOSPHERE project, currently under execution, aims to improve the value chain of Green Hydrogen production. The project is being carried out by IBERDROLA CLIENTES, IBERDROLA ENERGÍA ESPAÑA, INERCO, INGETEAM, IDESA, ABC COMPRESSORS, and INNOMERICS, addressing the main technological challenges in power electronics equipment, electrolysis stacks, purification systems, compression and storage systems, safety systems implemented in the facility, digital twin and balance of plant, as well as ways to utilize the electrolyzer's waste heat to increase overall efficiency. All of this will lead to a significant improvement in operation, enabling a reduction in production costs and increasing the lifespan of industrial green hydrogen plants.
This consortium is also supported by six Research Organizations, including TECNALIA, IIT-COMILLAS, IDONIAL, AICIA, UPNA, and CEIT, all of which excel in various technological fields and whose participation is essential from a technological standpoint to achieve the technical objectives.
The ATMOSPHERE project proposes various strategies to maximize the impact of the results obtained in the technical-scientific, environmental, and economic fields, generating benefits at both the business and social levels. The project's results will be further enhanced through the partners' participation in new hydrogen projects.
The ATMOSPHERE project started on November 1, 2022, with an expected completion date of June 30, 2025, making for a duration of 32 months. It has a total budget of €6,666,495. The project is being funded by the CDTI, within the Large Companies Missions Program, with code MIG-20221006.
meshONE.
Innomerics SL has received a grant from the Society for Regional Development of Cantabria (SODERCAN) ID22-TC-004 in the amount of €34,319.25 for the development of meshONE, an automatic, adaptive, and robust mesher based on artificial intelligence (AI) techniques.
During the period from 11/15/2022 to 11/14/2023, within the framework of the R&D project program in the ICT sector, this represents 35% of the total eligible project budget.
Additionally, Innomerics SL informs that it has not received any other grants or subsidies for the execution of this project and that it is not compatible with other grants or subsidies.
SMARTinspect.
The objective of the SMARTinspect project is the development of a predictive system for the maintenance of critical industrial equipment, whose most relevant application is the prediction of crack growth in components of power generation facilities, specifically nuclear reactors. This system uses artificial intelligence algorithms to predict potential structural failures of components from three sets of data: (1) component design data, such as geometry, materials and manufacturing practices, (2) records of historical inspections that have been performed over the life of the component, and (3) operating data from process instrumentation available on the equipment, system or industrial component being monitored.
This project has been funded within the state business leadership program of RED.ES in the 2020 call for grants on technological development based on artificial intelligence and other digital enabling technologies (C007/20-ED). Reference number 2020/0720/00099818.
